Branded parent surveys behind a QR code or a link, every answer already tagged against the National Quality Standard. When the assessor asks for evidence, it's there, not buried in a spreadsheet you have to rebuild.

Childcare Parent Survey Software (NQS)
emberry is a parent feedback platform for childcare and early learning services. It runs short, branded surveys for parents and educators, tags every answer to the National Quality Standard, and turns the results into assessment-ready evidence across all seven Quality Areas.
Early learning runs on trust, and on a rating cycle that asks you to prove it. emberry gathers parent voice the way families will actually answer (short, on a phone, in their own time) and turns it into evidence you can stand behind at assessment.
Tagged against NQS, out of the box
Each question carries the Quality Areas and elements it speaks to. Ask once about communication at pickup, and it counts toward every element it touches. One pool of questions becomes evidence across all seven Quality Areas.
Parents and educators, kept separate
Run a parent survey and an educator pulse from the same account. Each audience has its own questions and its own score, but both roll up into the one headline number for the service.
A concern becomes a case, not a complaint
A low answer about a meal, a nap, or a handover opens a case, routes it to the right educator or director, and starts a clock. You can show how quickly each service resolves things.
Ready for QR on the door, SMS, or email
A QR on the sign-in iPad, a link in the daily-report email, a code on the newsletter. Five short questions in your colours, answered before the car leaves the car park.
The regulator layer
Pre-loaded: National Quality Standard (NQS)
We pre-load the National Quality Standard so every question maps to the Quality Areas and elements it evidences. You can adjust the mapping, add your own questions, and export the tagged responses when ACECQA or your assessor asks.
How does emberry help with NQS assessment and rating?
Every question you ask is tagged to the Quality Areas and elements it speaks to, so ordinary parent feedback accumulates as evidence over the whole year. When your assessment and rating visit comes, you export the tagged responses for each Quality Area instead of building a folder from scratch.
Can parents give feedback without creating an account?
Yes. Parents scan a QR code or tap a link and answer a few short questions, no app and no login. They can stay anonymous, or verify with an emailed code if you want to be able to reply to them.
Can I survey educators and staff separately from parents?
Yes. Parents and educators are separate audiences with their own questions and their own score, run from the one account. The two never cross wires, and you can see them side by side in one place for the service.
What happens when a parent raises a concern?
A low answer about a meal, a nap, a handover, or communication can open a case automatically, route it to the right educator or director, and start a clock. Nothing sits unseen, and you can show how quickly each service resolves things.
Is our families' data kept in Australia?
Yes. Every account is hosted in Sydney by default, every change is logged, and the platform is built to follow Australian privacy law. Your data is yours, and you can export it at any time.
How long does it take to get started?
A single service can be live in the time it takes to print a QR sticker. The childcare question library and NQS tagging come pre-loaded, so there's no setup project and no consultant required.
